Terms of Sale

1. Scope

These terms govern sales concluded between Undefined Studio and any person ordering a collection piece, a ready-to-wear item or a custom creation.

2. Products

Collection pieces are unique creations, sewn to order in the atelier; each is an original and may differ subtly from the photographs. Ready-to-wear is made to order. Custom creations are quoted individually after a conversation.

3. Prices

Prices are in euros, inclusive of applicable taxes. These terms are concluded with MORPHIE CORP (Versailles Trade Register 990 315 400), trading as Undefined Studio. Delivery costs, where applicable, are stated before the order is confirmed.

4. Ordering

Orders are placed through the site’s forms or by email to [email protected]. An order becomes binding upon written confirmation by Undefined Studio, together with an accepted quote and agreed deposit terms where applicable.

5. Payment

Payment terms (bank transfer or a secure payment link) are set out in the order confirmation.

6. Making and delivery times

Collection pieces generally take two to three months to make; ready-to-wear, three to four weeks; custom work, two to four months depending on the project. Exact lead times and delivery method are confirmed with the order.

7. Right of withdrawal

Under Article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the client’s specifications or clearly personalised, which is the case for pieces sewn to order, fitted to measurements, and custom creations.

For standard, non-personalised items, the client has fourteen days from receipt to withdraw, without giving reasons, by writing to [email protected]. Returns must be in new condition, at the client’s cost; the refund is made within fourteen days of receiving the return.

8. Legal warranties

All creations carry the French legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code).

9. Care

Pieces carrying light are delicate instruments: they are never washed with water and never submerged. Each piece ships with its own care ritual; failure to follow it may void warranty coverage.

10. Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, clients may refer disputes free of charge to a consumer mediator: CM2C, Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, cm2c.net (referral online on the mediator's site or by post). The European online dispute resolution platform is also available: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction.
